After many airlines cut down the fuel surcharge on international routes in July, the fuel surcharge of domestic ones will hopefully fall within this month, declining 10-30 yuan. It hits the lowest level in 17 months.
Yesterday Ctrip. com received written documents from some airlines like Xiamen Air to cut the fuel surcharge. The documents expound that since July 5th, the fuel surcharge of adult passengers within 800 miles will fall 20 yuan, declining from 70 to 50; if over 800 miles, the surcharge will adjust from 130 to 100, 30 yuan down. Simultaneously, children passengers can enjoy 10 yuan declining of fuel surcharge. It is the lowest level that the fuel surcharge of domestic routes decline in 17 months.
Lots of airlines have declared to lower their fuel surcharge of international routes since July 1st, which is the first time that airlines decline the fuel surcharge of international routes in 2012.
Generally speaking, the situation of rises and falls for domestic routes fuel surcharge is coherent in China. Though some airlines like Xiamen Air declared to decrease, it is clear that the domestic routes will lower their fuel surcharge in July, remarked by Ctrip. com.
