On the afternoon of April 24, Investment in Rotterdam Seminar was held in Shangri-La Hotel. The seminar was organized by Shenzhen Trade Promotion Association and Rotterdam City Development Corporation. Relevant persons in International Department of LSCMA took part in the seminar on invitation. Leaders presenting at the meeting included: Mr. He Xuewen, Chairman of Shenzhen Trade Promotion Association; Mr. Ivo weekenborg, CEO of Rotterdam City Development Corporation; Ms. Luo Lan, Director of Chinese Affairs of Rotterdam City Development Corporation; Mr. Edo de Ronde, Marketing Manager of Rotterdam’s European China Centre; Ms. Karin Rancuret, Asian Logistics Senior Manager of Holland Logistics Association; Mr. Jiazhong Wang from ABN AMRO etc.
 
Relevant persons made speeches about investment environment, investment chance, relevant laws and financial issues investing and developing in Rotterdam. They also held one-on-one meetings to interact and communicate with Chinese enterprises. During the meeting, Rotterdam City Development Corporation, Rotterdam Chamber of Commerce, and Holland Logistics Association showed strong interest in 2009 China (Shenzhen) International Material Handling Exhibition (AsiaMet). Leaders of International Department of LSCMA elaborated the current situation of AsiaMat and its advantages. They were also very interested in the point-to-point invitation for 100,000 professional visitors and the procurement meetings to be held. They expressed their intents to cooperate and hoped to establish long-term cooperative relationship with LSCMA.
