A three-people delegation led by Secretary General Ms. Zheng Yanling from Shenzhen Logistics and Supply Chain Management Association (LSCMA) took part in SITL Europe 2010, which was held on March 23-26 in Nord-Villepinte exhibition center in Paris.
The biennial SITL has a history of over 20 years and accumulated many European clients and exhibitors and is one of the most famous specialized trade shows in Europe. On this session, it had over 400 exhibitors, among which 90 percent came from France. Exhibitors from Germany, Belgium, Italy or other European countries were not many, not to mention Asian exhibitors. Comparing with last session in 2008, much less, precisely only two Chinese enterprises presented in the 2010 show. They were LSCMA and a logistic equipment company from Fujian. As demands for logistics grows in the international marketplace and the upgrading of logistics notions, logistic exhibitions should be more professional, diversified, updated and innovative, so that they shall be favored by enterprises.
On SITL 2010, the LSCMA delegation had carried out in-depth communication and exchange with the exhibiting companies and promoted CILF and AsiaMat held in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in 2010. Many companies had great interest in the Top One Logistics and Transportation Fair – CILF and its sister show, AsiaMat. The LSCMA booth was crowded with companies and associations who wanted to know how to participate in the two shows. Especially, Calais City in France, Tanger Med Port in Morocco, JOLODA Company in UK and Western Overseas Corporation in USA had expressed their strong wish to participate in CILF and AsiaMat in 2010, hoping to learn more about each other by exchanging views with Chinese logistics enterprises for further business and cooperation. At the end of the four-day event, the brochures were sent out and the LSCMA delegation had brought back abundant business demands from European companies and built a solid bridge between Chinese logistics industry and international logistics market.
