Date Posted:2011-10-28   Author:    Source:Original site
In China, when people discuss the classical logistics development cases, German logistics is the first one coming into our minds, because Germany is famous for its logistics and it is one of the most advanced logistics countries in the world. In Germany, China’s strong investment ability and the huge potential logistics market also receive wide attention. Thus it is quite natural and unavoidable for the two countries to strength their communication and cooperation in transportation and logistics. The opening ceremony of CILF 2011 on October 10 is the best example of communication and cooperation between the countries.
As the Top 1 expo in Asia, Top 2 in the World, CILF receives the world-wide attention. It also attracts the eyeball of Germany enterprises. “CILF offers us the opportunity to find the potential logistics customers, establish and strength cooperation. This is the reason that we came here.” said Jan Mücke, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development of Federal Republic of Germany. Mr. Jan Mücke made the statement above at the Forum “Logistics Solution-Made in Germany”. During this forum, Mr Prof Klaus from Germany Trade and Invest, Mr. Markus Kopp from Mitteldeutsche Airport Holding, Mr. Marcel Egger from Eurogate GmbH & Co. KGaA,KG and other enterprisers and experts made full and excellent introduction on Germany transportation and logistics. More than 100 enterprisers from home and Germany attended this forum and held a warm panel discussion after the forum. It is the third time for Mr. Prof Klaus to attend the Germany logistics promotion seminar in Shenzhen. In his previous meeting with Ms. Zheng Yanling, the Secretary General of Shenzhen Logistics and Supply Chain Management Association, Mr. Prof Klaus said that Germany pavilion and enterprises had very successful exhibitions in the previous CILFs and he believed that Germany pavilion would have an excellent exhibition in this year’s CILF.
More than 1200 exhibitors participated in this year’s CILF and they covered more than 50 countries. The exhibitors from Germany included Germany Trade and Invest, Logistics Alliance Germany, Hamburg Port, Hannover Airport, EUROGATE GmbH & Co. KGaA, KG, JadeWeserPort Logistics Zone GmbH & Co. KG, POLZUG Intermodal GmbH, Buss Group GmbH & Co. KG, Hamburg Süd(China) Ltd, Logistic Network Consultants GmbH and other institution, ports, airports and enterprises. Besides the forum mentioned above, Germany pavilion also co-organized with Shenzhen Logistics and Supply Chain Management Association and held another logistics forum with the subject “Multimodality as contribution to sustainable logistics”.
Logistics industry is Germany’s third pillar following trade industry and automobile industry and it has become an important part for Germany national economy. German logistics is mature and well-developed. German adopts the “government supervision plus enterprise independent operation” operation model, which promotes the development of German logistics. Germany’s experience is helpful to China logistics development. Mr. Jan Mücke said: “Germany is experienced in logistics development and China owns huge market and potential. I hope our communication and cooperation with China will be further strengthened and enhanced after this year’s CILF.
