Mr. Yan, the Supply Chain Director of S.F Express, made a speech Logistics Business Model Innovation under Electric Business Age at LSCMA member meeting, which mainly focus on logistics development in China, analysis on logistics model, and the future trend of logistics.

"The history of Chinese logistics development is divided into several periods in 1993, 1997, 2003, 2005, 2008 and 2013. In 1993, the representatives are S.F Express and P.G Logistics, which is at the savage growth period. In 1997, the representative is P.G Logistics, which is at logistics informatization period. In 2005, the representative is Eternal Asia, which is at logistics finance period. In 2008, the representative is Deppon logistics, which is at express logistics period. In 2013, the representative is Cainiao, which is at platform period."
About logistics model, he mentioned that the traditional contract logistics model is represented by China merchants, P.G Express, direct logistics model represented by S.F.Express and join form like Shentong, Yuantong, Zhongtong and Yunda.
When talking about S.F.Express, Mr.Yan said, “Someone always ask us, why S.F.Express never lose a parcel?”My answer is that management of dozens-of staff relies on the boss, management of hundreds-of staff relies on the system, management of hundreds-of-thousands-of staff relies on the culture. S.F.Express is a labor-intensive enterprise with more than 0.4 million people, and we gain the respect and trust of our customers by culture and integrity.
